At Bespoke Spaces, we believe that responsible sourcing is the foundation of sustainability. That’s why we partner with FSC-certified suppliers who share our commitment to environmental stewardship. By choosing sustainably managed forests, we ensure that our timber is harvested ethically and replenished for future generations. From the moment the raw materials are selected, we prioritise quality and sustainability, setting the stage for furniture pieces that are built to last. The best bit? Wood grows back, whilst absorbing Co2 from the atmosphere.
Bespoke Spaces stands firm in our commitment to sustainability. Our philosophy is simple: build once and build it right, ensuring that our furniture pieces outlast ‘quick’ alternatives and stand the test of time. With sustainability at the forefront of our design process, we prioritise ethical sourcing, eco-friendly materials, and innovative practices to create furniture that not only exceeds expectations but also minimises environmental impact.

Timber: Natures Sustainable Solution
Timber has long been celebrated as a sustainable material, prized for its renewability and versatility. At Bespoke Spaces, we harness the natural beauty and durability of timber to create furniture pieces that stand the test of time. From solid oak to pine and beyond, our timber selections are carefully chosen for their sustainability credentials, ensuring that every piece of furniture tells a story of responsible stewardship and timeless elegance.
Modern furniture pieces using MFC can also specify sustainable options. When is comes to sourcing panel products, we partner with brands such as Egger, who focus their operations heavily on their environmental impact. They do this by sourcing their wood as closely to their factories as possible, recycling materials (a large % of their MFC is recycled!) and operating their factories using biomass boilers.

Innovative Materials for a Greener Future
In addition to timber, we embrace innovative materials that push the boundaries of sustainability. From Polygood® (made from 100% recycled and 100% recyclable plastic). to PaperStone® (a paper composite surface material made from recycled paper and a natural resin) we are constantly exploring new ways to reduce waste and minimise environmental impact. By repurposing materials and incorporating recycled content into our designs, we not only divert waste from landfills but also create furniture pieces that are as eco-friendly as they are stylish.
